W. Kim Tae Kwon Do was founded in 1981 by Grandmaster Wan Sup Kim. The school approches Tae Kwon Do with a holistic attitude. W. Kim Tae Kwon Do believes that Tae Kwon Do can be used to help kids and adults focus more, gain confidence, and overall feel better about themselves. The character education at W. Kim Tae Kwon Do helps develop children into future leaders. Housed in two locations: Palatine, IL (Headquarters) and Lake Zurich, IL; W. Kim Tae Kwon Do also partners with the Buehler YMCA and Barrington Park District to teach class sessions.
