Who We Are Sojourner Truth House (STH) is a 501(c) 3 not for profit organization located in Gary, Indiana and is sponsored by the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ. STH serves homeless and at-risk women and their children and underserved members of the community through three streams of service. Sojourner Truth House addresses the needs of its clients with a holistic service delivery model that strengthens the mind, body and spirit of the clients we serve.
