The Agriculture and Food Council of Alberta (AFC) is a catalyst in advancing a market driven and sustainable agri-food industry in Alberta Our Organizations Goals 1. Improve the international competitiveness of agri-food SMEs. 2. Improve the inter-connectedness of support organizations, particularly logistical systems, for the benefit of agri-food SMEs. 3. Improve multi-disciplinary/multi-sector R&D collaborations resulting in research, development and commercialization projects focused on production and delivery of the finest intermediate and consumer ready products. 4. Strengthen the integration of Alberta’s functional foods, bioactives, natural health products, nuetraceuticals and value-added products into the global economy.
