As a step in the path towards Indigenous self-government, a First Nation’s controlled Housing & Infrastructure Authority will assume authority and control for First Nations housing and infrastructure program delivery in British Columbia; and deliver associated housing and infrastructure services. We are not the authority, we have the mandate from First Nations Leadership to create the Authority, engaging with First Nations along the way to ensure the new Authority represents First Nations values.
