The BORCAD Medical a.s. Company was founded in 2016 based on the separation from a company with more than 25 years of experience in the development and production of medical devices. The company primarily focuses on the production of birthing beds, gynaecological chairs and other multifunctional and specialized chairs. In obstetrics and gynaecology the company is one of the world’s leading companies, which is evidenced by its successful sales worldwide as well as a series of designer awards (such as the Red Dot Design 2011). Recently, the company has entered the Chinese market. By doing so it extended the export of its products to 60 countries in the world in 2015. For the years to come BORCAD Medical a.s. plans intensive product growth and entering new markets, especially the US market, where the company has not been active yet.
