Which needs to be optimised even before conceiving as your baby will draw from these nutrients as they grow. But contrary to modern beliefs you do not have to eat for 2, you don't need any extra calories until your 3rd trimester, so I will work with you to make sure that you have sufficient nutrients but not excessive calories - we want to avoid excessive weight gain that will be difficult to shift after pregnancy. As well as this I can offer you guidance on early years nutrition right through to teenage with the intention of preventing childhood obesity through forming positive habits and a good relationship with food.
