Our production capabilities include progressive die high-speed, heavy and transfer stamping and forming of parts, pre- and post-production product applications, robotic joining/assembly of parts, 2-D/3-D camera detection & inspection, automated product cleaning, product packaging & product laser marking. We build all of our stamping production tooling in-house & offer rapid prototyping. We are a team of over 230 employees, operating on 207,000 SF of manufacturing space at 4 locations in Illinois. Wiegel supports multi-million-piece, high-volume manufacturing of precision metal stamped components, custom product assemblies and custom-developed battery products with various materials, features, tight tolerances and unique geometries. Products Wiegel manufactures include terminal connectors, contacts, busbars, lead frames, shields, brackets, wire & cable connectors and battery components such as anode/cathode collectors, current collector assemblies, battery cell components, battery packs/modules, among other custom-engineered manufacturing stampings and assemblies. We work with manufacturers in a variety of industries including but not limited to automotive, EV, electrical, electronics, lighting and medical.
