Established in 1948, AIESEC now exists in 114 countries and territories, and had expanded to Kuwait in 2013. AIESEC develops leadership in youth by giving the confidence to learn and the freedom to fail in a company like environment, where they have the opportunity to gain practical skills by encouraging them to take leadership positions, and to challenge themselves by constantly pushing them outside their comfort zones. This allows youth to be better prepared and equipped to join the work force and compete to on an international level, whether they choose to to join corporates or SMEs, or whether they decide to become entrepreneurs.
