East Coast Metal Fabrication is a custom structural steel fabricator. Through partnering with clients we successfully fabricate, erect and perform maintenance throughout commercial and industrial environments. Through these strategic partnerships East Coast Metal Fabrication is able to streamline costs and schedules for mutual growth, while building strong relationships that last. We have a 29,000 square foot fabrication facility, a large assembly area, sandblasting and painting facility located in the Sydport Industrial Marine Park. With this, East Coast Metal Fabrication is positioned for strong growth in Eastern Canada’s Oil, Mining and ship building industries. The site is situated on a 22-acre dockside, strategically connected to the Sydney harbor with 4,250 feet of wharf space, with 20 to 36 feet of water depth alongside. Offshore oil and gas supply vessels, bulk carriers, product tankers, ferries, coast guard vessels and ocean-going barges have all loaded or been serviced at our facility. We have built, assembled and loaded out skids for the offshore oil and gas industry onsite, as well as to northern mining projects. The wharf allows East Coast Metal Fabricators to assemble and deliver components in much larger sections than what can be transported by land ways.
