Product quality, specialised technical support and the possibility of personalising products according to customer requests are just a few of the firm’s distinctive traits. The main Ecomavi products, reels of water soluble, biodegradable film and bags/pouches, are made with polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH or PVA), a non-toxic, ecocompatible and completely water soluble substance. Commonly used for a wide range of applications, this material is highly suitable for the manufacture of bags/pouches used in hygiene-related businesses such as industrial laundries, hospitals and hotels and can be used to make pouches for dyeworks, cement additives, packaging for detergents and fertilisers, etc. In blown film form it constitutes a valid temporary backing for fabric embroidering processes. All Ecomavi products can, on request, be adapted to specific customer equirements, and can be personalised in terms of dimensions, thickness (micron), weight (g/m²) and colour, with personalised print solutions in one or more colours. In addition to water soluble products, Ecomavi also supplies a thermal-fuse polyethylene film (thermofilm) specifically intended for the textile industry.
