Self-Directed, Hands-On, Collaborative Learning! Learning is a lifelong process, involving the whole person. Our students are inspired to grow in responsibility, tolerance, compassion, patience, organization, and motivation. Children at Little River Montessori learn in an environment that supports the individual child’s social, emotional, intellectual, and moral development. Utilizing children’s innate motivation and their natural sense of curiosity our environment allows children to participate in self-directed learning with multi-sensory, sequential, and self-correcting materials.
