Archer Park Rail Museum Approved·Monday, 5 November 2018· Archer Park Rail Museum is the home of the Purrey Steam Tram - considered to be the only operational Purrey Steam Tram in the world. The Museum has a large amount of interesting rail exhibits including a C17 Steam Engine, Diesel Engine 1614, heritage rail carriages from 1903 and 1921 and an amazing soundscape that brings the period of the 1930's railways to life. Now run by the Friend’s of Archer Park, the station sits as a reminder of history and a way for people now to enjoy what life was like in the past.
