Turkish Golf Federation was established in 12.02.1996 with the efforts of Mr.Raif Bilir who was the president till 24.01.2001. Ahmet Agaoglu has taken over the presidency during 2001. With its hardworking and dynamic team ,Turkish Golf Federation works for its aim to develop golf sport in Turkey with intensive tournament programs both nationally and internationally . Turkish Golf Federation has been in autonomous status since 9th September 2005. Being an authorized body, the mission of TGF is: - to organize and supervise all the international and national tournaments, - to create the archive for golf in Turkey, - to promote golf nationwide in collaboration with schools, clubs, press and associations in order to make the population to get interested with golf, - to promote Turkey by organizing high level international golf championships. Turkish Golf Federation is a member of IGF and EGA and also the authorised body for Handicapping and Course Rating System.
