Founded in 2012 by Dr. Timothy Shantz, Luminous Voices is a professional chamber choir based in Calgary, Canada. Its MISSION is to engage audiences in exceptional choral music through stirring performances, workshops and recordings. Its VISION is to encourage the advancement of the choral art by providing a forum for collaboration among local and international artists in the development and presentation of choral music, as well as musical education programs. In its short history, Luminous Voices has premiered a number of Canadian works, including "In Canadian Woods" (2017) by Heather Schmidt, and the award-winning "The Far West" (2016) by Zachary Wadsworth.
