Firefighters Without Borders is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting fire departments in need of specific skills, training or resources related to the fire service. Many communities are not equipped to handle emergencies and require assistance to recover after a major event, or to prepare for incidents such as hazardous material spills or natural disasters. Providing hope, confidence, and support through training and education, Firefighters Without Borders is comprised of professional firefighters, emergency and medical personnel, and related staff who volunteer to reach out to give a “hand-up” to fire departments in many areas of the world. All firefighters who work with Firefighters Without Borders pay their own expenses and donate their own personal time while participating in the program, so donations go where they're needed most.
