The Zahn Innovation Center at CCNY
www.ccny.cuny.eduThe Zahn Innovation Center was established in late 2012 with the goal of mobilizing the entire City College of New York community around entrepreneurship. The Center offers over $150K in funding through our competitions – supporting hardware, tech, and social entrepreneurs – as well as access to mentors from various industries, legal services, cutting-edge prototyping facilities (including 3D printing and laser cutting) and other programming dedicated to ensuring that our talented entrepreneurs find success. The resources of the center are focused on helping these startups address the unique challenges associated with prototype development and product design, as well as provide mentorship, market research, business planning and community connections for our companies to evolve from a great idea into viable ventures. The center also intends to build and grow a strong hardware, software and social enterprise community in New York, and will provide prototyping services, events and classes aimed at expanding the knowledge base around entrepreneurship, technology and engineering.
