Georgian Copyright Association - Collective management organization was created by authors and their successors. Association has been functioning since 1999. Association unites more than 2 000 members. Associations’ mission is to protect the works of Science, Literature and Art throughout the territory of Georgia as well as regulation their usage countrywide. Association provides the intellectual property administration at the collective management basis through issuance of licenses for the protected copyright work usage, collection of license fees and distributes them as royalties to authors; as well as the reveal of infringements, their elimination and prevention.
