Founded in 2013 High Desert Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation is one of the most comprehensive wildlife rehabilitation centers serving Central Oregon. We provide expert medical care and rehabilitation services to all wildlife species including birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians. Serving primarily the Central Oregon area HDWRR also serves as a resource for people from as far away as Klamath Falls and Washington State, and there is always a veterinarian and veterinary technician on-site. We operate under permits from the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Support from our local community is extremely important as we do not receive funding from any federal, state or local government agency.
