The Karaíba Group began in 1979 in the city of Uberlândia, MG, Brazil with the establishment of the company Karaíba Imobiliária Ltda., a Real Estate Company that, as its first project, created one of the city’s finest neighborhoods, Jardim Karaíba, by means of an innovative concept. Today, with more than 30 years in the market, The Group has highly qualified professionals and partners with a wide range of experiences in business development and management. Over this period, besides consolidating itself in the Real Estate arena through allotments, residential and comercial building constructions, Karaíba has diversified its portfolio, creating two distinct operations: Financial Business and Venture Capital. The Financial branch is represented by Karaíba Fomento Mercantil Ltda. (KFM), a Factoring Company established in 2009. KFM is located in the Midwest of Brazil and supports small and medium size companies with their Accounts Receivables. The Venture Capital segment focuses on the Brazilian middle market and invests in companies with a need of capital and management. Today Karaiba owns the majority of shares of a Home Health Care company and has a robust pipeline ahead.
