SIX magazine was founded with the premise of filling the gap for a traditional high-end fashion publication with a dramatically different concept. SIX is focused on showcasing fashion, design, art and lifestyle brands that work in an ethical and sustainable way, reviving old traditions and utilising high-tech methods and materials. SIX, which stands for the "sixth sense of design", i.e. sustainability, celebrates and showcases the best of S&E fashion and design (Sustainable & Ethical) around the globe, and was awarded "Outstanding Achievement" in raising awareness about issues related to fashion and sustainability by Ethical Fashion Forum's SOURCE Awards in 2012. Now awaiting the re-launch of its online platform, SIX aims to be the leader in reporting on high-end artisanal and high-tech design and living through the lense of tradition, innovation and sustainability.
