The company was founded in September 2013, the brand was named after the Albanian designer SERMA Xhafa who was born November 28th, 1949, the brand ethos was to become the first International Albanian brand that focuses on proving luxury products such as other international brands. Our mission is to make the brand one of the biggest brands to come from Albania providing high-quality products and making a statement and stand out as a unique brand. The SERMA brand was founded on the ethos of Fashion, Luxury, History, Culture, and International growth, our plans were to use our culture and the Albanian people to grow the brand by providing nationalist items but making them designer and essential and by having them grow and enter new markets. By making our company logo the two-headed eagle, we planned to provide Albanian people something they want but also by fashioning the Albanian eagle for others which one can argue that with a design change we can also drift from something that would be considered as nationalist to other people making it more desirable for them which sets up SERMA as a different brand compared to other brands currently in the wider market.
