We believe literacy is critical to individual and community well-being and economic development. Reading, writing, speaking and listening skills are necessary to advancing in education and for career development. The Center for Success Literacy Program promotes this critical skill in an effort to engage and inspire our curious students. Increasing literacy skills during individualized, one on one sessions with our dedicated mentors has allowed students to make measurable gains across all content areas in school while building confidence and excitement for education! Center for Success has developed programs based on student interest and goals identified through student assessments. Our programs bring together students and community partners during one on one, small group and whole class sessions to allow students to participate in various opportunities. Each experience allows students to employ diverse learning modalities that give a deeper understanding across content areas. By inspiring students to learn in a way that represents themselves and their interests, we are able to fuel the eagerness to discover what ignites their passion.
