Triangle North Healthcare Foundation is a nonprofit grantmaking organization with a focus on improving health in a four-county region that includes Vance, Warren, Granville, and Franklin. In November, 2011, the Foundation was reorganized and the name was changed following Maria Parham Medical Center’s merger with the for-profit Duke LifePoint organization. Triangle North Healthcare Foundation has been funded by an endowment created from the sale of the hospital. The 12-member Board of Directors is made up of community leaders, who are appointed for three-year terms by Henderson Vance Healthcare, Inc., the Foundation’s parent board. HVH is the former hospital entity and current partner in DLP Maria Parham Medical Center.
