History Wecon was founded in 2003 by Anders Dufour and Bo Eget, who for many years worked as cable installers for Banedanmark. Pr. On January 1, 2018, Sonny Nielsen and Michael Hjørngaard Jørgensen purchased a larger share of AB Kabelteknik ApS and today they are the owner of the company. The acquisition was made to strengthen and further develop the company. On January 1, 2019, AB Kabelteknik ApS changed its name to Wecon.
