By developing new partnerships and collaborating with corporations, universities, foundations, government agencies and donors, we provide innovative clinical research and work together to advance novel research and education programs that will improve the lives of those who served, and model best practices for the general public. Located on the grounds of the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital (ENR Hospital) in Bedford, MA, the Bedford VA Research Corporation permanent staff includes an Executive Director, a Research & Clinical Program Manager and a Grants Accounting Specialist. A dedicated Research Pharmacist is also part of the team. Research staff from the Hospital collaborates on specific projects. Bedford VA researchers are among the nation’s leaders in pioneering groundbreaking research. ENR Hospital is one of the top rated Veterans facilities in the country. Primary Care was voted best in Quality, receiving 5 Star status for access, and Mental Health Services is ranked #2 nationally. Women’s health, Alzheimer’s/Geriatrics, and dental care are amongst the highly regarded specialties. ENR Hospital operates the following specialty centers: Mental Illness Research and Education Clinical Center, (MIRECC); Center for Healthcare Organization and Implementation Research (CHOIR); as well as the National Center for Homelessness among Veterans. In addition to the main ENR Hospital in Bedford, there are four outpatient satellite clinics North of Boston where our dedicated physicians treat our veterans. BRCI actively seeks and manages partnerships with industry to provide access to cutting edge clinical trials in order to provide the best possible treatment options for our veteran’s health and well-being.
