Y Productions was comprised of 14 students in Grades 10-12 from Citadel High School and Sacred Heart School of Halifax, both in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Under the advisement of 5 local businesspeople from the community, Gen. Y Productions is putting on a local media art show on February 18, 2012 called Local Motion. Featuring 2011 Canadian Folk Music Award Winner: Molly Thomason Gen Y Productions, a Junior Achievement company, would like to take this opportunity to invite you to LocalMotion: A Local Multimedia Art Event. This three hour event will feature Nova Scotian talent in may different forms. The event is being planned and executed by a group of young entrepreneurs from Citadel High School and Sacred Heart School of Halifax, and volunteer advisors from the Halifax business community. The event will run from 7-10pm on February 18th, 2012 at Saint Antonio’s Olympic Hall 2304 Hunter Street in Halifax.
