First constructed in 1964, the RPC has seen a variety of performers, speakers, and artists to include President Ronald Reagan, Martin Luther King Jr., Elvis Presley, Willie Nelson, Alabama, and many more. The $23.5 million renovation completed in 2017 added style and efficiency to this great facility. The building now features 4 meeting room, 6 multi-purpose rooms, a catering kitchen, 4 locker rooms, 10 luxury suites, new office space and ticket booths, as well as a merchandise store to get your RPC memorabilia. Alexandria is also serviced by the Alexandria International Airport, which services commuter, corporate, and private aircrafts. The Rapides Parish Coliseum boasts the ability to host as many as 10,000 people.
