The Emergency Management Academy provides a 1-year intensive graduate-level reading program where participants read and discuss the Emergency Management Graduate Body of Knowledge.  It is designed for the mid-career emergency manager, regardless of degree. Participants read one book a week, discuss six key questions in a threaded email discussion as they read, then participate in a facilitated weekly 90-minute online conference call centered around six discussion questions led by participants (so each student will have to prepare and lead one discussion question roughly every other week.).   Each cohort will have no more than 12 participants, so we can ensure that we will have a manageable discussion. Those who complete the program will have mastered the Body of Knowledge  and will be awarded the title "Fellow of the Emergency Management Academy."
