INTRODUCTION: Lebanese women entrepreneurs are building vibrant and innovative businesses all over the country. However, to succeed and expand, they need a helping hand. Women entrepreneurs are our greatest hope in growing Lebanon’s economy. PURPOSE: There are 3 main problems in society that we would like to solve: 1. Kids raised with domestic help or grandparents 2. Fathers working late or abroad 3. Broken families that negatively affect ethical standards TARGET MARKET Lebanese women Preferred age: 30-50 No access to training programs due to time, money, or social challenges Women financially dependent on men (father, husband, son…) Passionate to start a business Serious and motivated to make a difference THE PROGRAM This program aims to help women become financially independent by creating small businesses that would enable them to earn an income from $500 to $5,000/month. The end result could be either men helping their wives in their businesses, or working less and investing more time to reestablish family bonds and recreate strong relationships. All businesses aim to create job opportunities in their areas. COMMUNITY BENEFITS Less men working abroad Less jobless women or women working full time jobs with minimal income o Now they can have a part time job and work from the comfort of their home and make the same income More time spent with the kids and better family bonding o Less time for kids with house help and grand parents Better economy & better family bonding leading to better ethical standards in Lebanon
