iDC (Intermedia Development Consultants) is a Kenya-registered company founded in 1988 as, simply, Intermedia. It offers consultancy services in various areas of development co-operation, and its main clients are development agencies, governmental organisations and, occasionally, private sector organisations. iDC works across a wide range of sectors and provides services in areas such as: Development communication; Monitoring and evaluation; Human resource development; Institution building; Management training; Feasibility studies; Project formulations and appraisals; Project impact assesments; Strategic plan development; Project management and technical assistance. The company has a small office team concerned with assignment preparation, administration, and documentation.
