CIOT/ATT - Sheffield Branch
www.tax.org.ukThe CIOT/ATT Sheffield Branch is a friendly volunteer-run branch providing a programme of technical training, social events and soft skills training for our members and non members alike. The Chartered Institute of Tax (CIOT) is the leading professional body in the UK for advisers dealing with all aspects of taxation. As a not-for-profit organisation our primary purpose is to promote education in taxation with a key aim of achieving a more efficient and less complex tax system for all. The primary charitable objective of the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) is to promote education and the study of tax administration and practice. One of our key aims is to provide an appropriate qualification for individuals who undertake tax compliance work. Drawing on our members' practical experience and knowledge, we contribute to consultations on the development of the UK tax system and seek to ensure that, for the general public, it is workable and as fair as possible. The branch is completely volunteer run and we are always looking for new committee members. If you are interested in finding out more about joining our friendly branch, please contact us.
