Animal Allies Rescue Foundation (AARF)
www.animalalliesrescue.orgAnimal Allies Rescue Foundation (AARF) is a 501(c)(3) all-volunteer non-profit organization in Baltimore, MD dedicated to promoting the rescue and adoption of abandoned, abused, homeless, and neglected animals. Our alliances with rescue organizations, shelters, animal care professionals, foster homes, and volunteers facilitate our commitment to place these animals into well-matched, carefully screened forever homes. Through education and community involvement, AARF aims to increase public awareness surrounding the issues of animal abuse, the importance of spaying and neutering, and the fallacies of breed discrimination. We strive to create a world where all animals are safe, respected, and loved. AARF was founded in 2012 in Baltimore, Maryland, by Arika Pevenstein and Sallyann Jennings, both of whom have been involved in animal rescue for many years. They created AARF in response to the overwhelming need for additional public education about the importance of adoption, animal protection and the animal crises not only in Baltimore, but across the country.
