Education Incubator is a Hawaiʻi-based nonprofit dedicated to creating opportunities for youth and educators to be agents of change for a more positive world through social impact entrepreneurship and innovation, curriculum development, and professional development. EI works with kids and community to design and implement unique place-based, solution-oriented initiatives built upon the core foundational value of Innovation With Aloha. We have worked with hundreds of youth and adults through in- and out-of-school programs to approach community problem-solving and solution-generating through the lens of passion, purpose, and positive-change. We do our work through 3 braided strands: 1) Foundations of ALOHA, a cohort-based social emotional wellness program for families and educators; 2) XLR8YOUTH, an investment-backed youth entrepreneurship and accelerator program in partnership with boutique investment firm Sultan Ventures; 3) Innovation With Aloha, our education- and educator-focused program to incorporate a decolonizing approach to design thinking into project- and problem-based learning.
