The Făgăraș Research Institute has the aim to support innovation, knowledge and science development in Tara Făgărașului through research, public policy analysis and quality educational programs. We believe in interdisciplinarity and in connecting research to practice & communities. The Institute focuses on developing a knowledge and research infrastructure in the area and on connecting the area to national and global knowledge networks. The core activity of the Institute is research. Secondary activities comprise educational programs, policy analysis and outreach.
