In Bogor, between the city and the mountains, there is a factory respectful of its environment surrounded by greenery area. Canopus is a startup flexible packaging company dates back to 2020 that operates in a state-of-the-art new machinery for printing and lamination. The Plant has 5 hectares of land. We currently serve big local customers and in term of capability, we have two new printing machines (Windmoller & Holscher Heliostar - Germany) with the ability to run 10 colours. Canopus, an industrial ecology model and committed to reducing our environmental impact through concrete actions. We are a fast-growing converter with one site in Indonesia. It is our company’s goal to grow organically with greenfield factories to keep pace with a rapidly changing marketplace. We also continue to invest in our capacity, as we have just added 1 extrusion laminator machine (Sumitomo/SHI - Japan) and 1 new tandem dry laminator machine (Nordmeccanica - Italy), which will double our capacity by Q3 2022. This type of new dry lamination machine is the first of its kind in Indonesia, with turret non-stop unwinders and rewinders working in tandem, which at a long run size will be faster in processing, enabling more efficient and quality delivery of our services. This is among the biggest investments in this industry in Indonesia in 2022, which acts as a testament of Canopus’ commitment to further grow in the Indonesian market.
