Brisbane Interactive Radio Group Inc. manages the operations of Switch Brisbane, a community radio station based in Brisbane Australia. The objectives of the organisation are as follows: ● To provide a radio service to the greater Brisbane community. ● To assist unemployed with access to jobs available in the greater Brisbane area through "Jobline". ● Assistance to youth and the underprivileged persons within our broadcasting range through "Youthlink". ● To cooperate with all existing and aspirant community broadcasters. ● To operate as a true community broadcaster not using a community broadcast as a commercial broadcast. ● To support the Commonwealth of Australia's "Work for the Dole" Projects and all other initiatives. ● To support the aims and initiatives of other community groups, to inform the public of their up and coming activities. ● To assist where possible with the training and preparation for employment. ● To be accessible by and to all areas of the community. ● To be a family friendly broadcaster. ● To uphold and adhere to the C.B.A.A.
