We are a professional library organization committed to the support and advancement of libraries and those interested in library service through professional development and timely communications. We do this in a number of ways: by providing Scholarship and Professional Development Awards for members to attend conferences or continue their education, supporting innovative library services throughout the county, encouraging cooperation among libraries, librarians, staff and supporters, informing the public of library matters, and by providing professional support and assistance to members of PBCLA.
