Pipeline Burial Services an LL&G Construction Company
www.pipelineburialservices.comLL&G Construction, Inc. has been in business since 1984, and for the first 20 years was primarily a marine oilfield service company providing services for the placement of pipelines, production facilities, fabrication of production facilities, and salvage operations. In 1998 the company adjusted to the inconsistency of oilfield income and moved into servicing government related maritime projects under new ownership. After just a few years of servicing our federal government’s construction needs, we were considered a viable and primary contractor servicing various marine construction and levee projects. This relationship placed us as a first responder during Katrina events. We were selected to perform major emergency projects for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, of which we received several accommodations and awards of accomplishment and also two medals from the office of the President of the US for our efforts during Katrina. Our ability to adapt, has allowed us to position ourselves to take advantage of changing market conditions. We were responsible for constructing 2 major projects in our area, after Katrina. One being the Bayou Segnette Pump Station and the other being the Leon Theriot flood gates (each of these projects were 15-20 million dollars in value). During Katrina we were responsible for major breach repairs such as the Bayou Bienvenue Locks, the Buras pump station and various levee repairs near the Michoud facility (Air Products). In 2010 the BP incident occurred, and of course we were again asked to lead as a first responder due to our ability to provide marine support services and also the ability to organize and strategize when providing for the unknown. We achieved substantial gain from our ability to commit and provide for our clients’ needs. At the close of BP, we elected to again provide services to the oilfield industry by acquiring deep water assets (derrick lift equipment and pipelay facilities). Currently, we specialize in the trenching/lowering of pipeline facilities ranging from 2" in diameter to 58" in diameter. We have performed projects both in the US and Mexico.
