Dronfield Town FC were formed in 1998 and have grown significantly over the last 19 seasons – an FA Charter Standard Club offering football to 500 junior and 100 adult players within 38 teams. With the Saturday nursery club offering coaching for 4-6 year olds, there is a football pathway for boys from under 7s, through to one of the four adult teams (the first and seconds compete in the Tool Station North East Counties and Central Midlands leagues respectively) and then ‘go to grass’ in the newly formed Over 35s team, with the final progression being the Over 45 squad – within the club the age of the players ranges from 4 years old to 62! We also have a strong girls section running from U9s and feeding through to our Ladies team who compete in the Sheffield & Hallamshire Women's County Football League.
