Ann Street was originally part of the first Presbyterian congregation founded in 1849. We are Brisbane City's oldest functioning church, currently gathering in three congregations each Sunday. WE ARE A BIBLE BASED CHURCH This means that we believe Scripture to be the infallible Word of God and that Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. We are a growing church and we warmly welcome you to join with us at one of our congregations on a Sunday. We believe in the historic Christian faith as summarized in the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds, and trace our spiritual heritage to the Protestant Reformation led by John Calvin in Geneva and John Knox in Scotland. Because we want to know Jesus and make him known, we listen to what the Bible says about him. Whenever we gather, someone speaks from the Bible in a way that is clear, challenging and connects with people. We want our meetings to be easy to understand and easy to be a part of, even if you have never been to church before or not for a long time.
