SportsRadioDetroit.com is an independently owned and operated digital print and online broadcasting website founded in 2011 that provides an alternative to the traditional AM/FM sports talk experience in the Detroit market. In addition to covering professional and niche sports, SRD contributors have complied with experienced broadcasters and writers (in major/minor media companies and organizations) who provide a fresh voice in Detroit media. Within the past year, we have added play by play for Wyandotte Roosevelt football and Livonia Stevenson hockey. We also added new shows that discuss movies, the horror genre, pop culture, and music. SportsRadioDetroit.com has been assisting with internships, helping students learn podcast production, writing, and other marketing & communications endeavors.
