Eastop Architects is an architecture and interiors studio based in Melbourne, Australia. Underpinning the studio’s work is a focus on the physical and emotional experience of architecture. Spatial experiences are constructed through clear compositional form, the layering of light, texture and mass, and a visible dialogue between interior and landscape. Material palettes are considered and restrained, with an emphasis on materials that embody a sense of integrity and permanence. Founded by Liam Eastop in 2017, Eastop Architects has recently been recognised as an Emerging Interior Design Practice in the Australian Interior Design Awards 2020 and has received a Commendation for Residential (Alt & Adds) in the Victorian Architecture Awards.
