The Hong Kong Insurance Law Association (HILA) is one of the 60 national chapters of the Association Internationale de Droit des Assurances (AIDA). With the support of underwriters, brokers, lawyers, academics and other intermediaries from across the industry, HILA is dedicated to playing a proactive role in the development of insurance law in Hong Kong. HILA hosts various events throughout the year, including seminars on a wide variety of topics, and it is upon this platform that HILA promotes debate, dialogue and collaboration between representatives of all sectors of the insurance law fraternity in Hong Kong on matters affecting the industry and its participants. HILA maintains close ties with the Australian Insurance Law Association (AILA), Insurance Law Association of Singapore (ILAS) and the New Zealand Insurance Law Association (NZILA).
