Green Angel Skincare
www.greenangel.comGreen Angel was created in 2005 by husband and wife duo Chris and Mary Mitchell. The range was born out of a desire to develop a skincare brand that really worked and was kind to the environment too. Mary had long been interested in alternative therapies, and became aware of the extraordinary healing and therapeutic benefits of natural plant oils while trying to combat her dry skin. Meanwhile Chris had been brought up believing in the restorative powers of seaweed from his childhood collecting seaweed at Gibraltar Point in Lincolnshire, to be used for restorative baths and healing poultices or toasted as snacks. The business grew from selling seaweed powder at exhibitions and craft fairs to a brand now employing 14 people, producing a range of 33 luxury skincare products sold in more than 700 pharmacies, gift and lifestyle shops nationwide. All the natural ingredients are grown without the use of GMOs, pesticides or synthetic fertilisers, are certified organic, and maintain their integrity by being produced in small batches in the brand’s state-of-the-art facility in Rathcoole, Co Dublin.
