Proprietor Jeremy DeSpain operates this commercial and registered Angus cattle ranch. The farm and pasture land was homesteaded in 1896 by Jeremy's great-great grandfather, Benjamin DeSpain. The ranch is located just outside Edwall on SR-231, in the heart of Washington wheat country, just 40 miles southwest of Spokane. DeSpain's cattle graze on Eastern Washington land that is not treated with pesticides and has always been used as pasture by the family for over 100 years.
