The Cedar Valley CPCU Society Chapter includes more than 100 individuals who have earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU®) designation and who live or work in Eastern Iowa, including the communities of Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, and Iowa City. The CPCU® designation is conferred by The Institutes and requires passing rigorous exams, meeting an experience requirement, and agreeing to be bound by a strict code of professional ethics. Through its member practitioners, the Institutes CPCU Society remains at the forefront of emerging issues and developments that continue to shape the risk management and property casualty insurance industry. As one of the more than 120 chapters within the Institutes, The Cedar Valley CPCU Society is committed to providing our members access to continuing education programs, mentorship and leadership opportunities that enable individuals to expand their technical insurance skills and business capabilities in order to improve the overall performance of the insurance industry while adhering to the highest ethical standards.
