Trillium Architects is a 7 person, full service, boutique architectural firm founded in 2004 with the sole purpose of designing sustainable homes. Founder Elizabeth DiSalvo has been designing energy efficient, healthy homes since the early 90's, 10 years before LEED was active in the broad market. We achieved our first LEED certified project in 2010, A LEED Gold Home in CT. Since then the firm has moved on to specializing in Passive House, Net Zero and off the grid homes. In 2015 and 2016 we won awards for Best Energy Efficient Home in the USA from both the USGBC and the DOE, we won a 3rd Place International Innovation award which we accepted at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Morocco 2016, and we won Best Emerging Firm in CT from the AIA 2016. With the end goal of marrying beauty, usability and the cutting edge of efficient design, we strive to always make the client experience of building or renovating their home top notch.
