The HIgh School for Girls Potchefstroom was founded in 1905 and some century old traditions are important pillars of the Girl's High structure. Our maintenance of certain traditions allows the girls to take pride in our heritage and to embrace the future with a sense of history and pride. While we pursue a dynamic approach to the challenge of meeting the future needs of our learners, our heritage is acknowledged and valued. The reputation which our school enjoys, the reputation and the traditions, are synonymous with our success in all spheres: academic, sport, culture and service. Hard work brings true joy, is a tenet that rings true for every young woman who has had the privilege of passing through our gates.
