Michele Di Luca, since he was a child it was very fascinated by skill of engravers and craftworkers. In the 1957 he founded the “Michele Di Luca”. A company skilled in engraving shell cameos. This company, along the years, became a steady business and in the 1977 Mr. Michele Di Luca receive a very important acknowledgment by Chamber of Commerce of Naples. In the 1980, Mr. Michele Di Luca's sons: Gino, Anna, Pina and Marinella inherit the family business, with “Di Luca Brothers” company, after know also as “diluca 1929”. Today the family tradition is represented by “Classics” and carried forth by Gino. Classics is well know for importing and distributing pearls and hand working of shell cameo and corals, following very ancient craft working techniques. It's engravers are very clever craftworkers. They are able to combine the hystorical technique with a modern vision of the jewel. The result is a very unique jewel. This is “Cameo Italiano”.
