Coficiné, affiliate of Natixis, is a credit institution specialised in film, audiovisual, multimedia and cultural industries financing. The company was established in 1949 after the acquisition of the Credit Cinematographique, created in 1928 and has been a member of Natixis group since 2000. Coficiné finances all aspects of image and sound: production and distribution of cinematographic films, television fictions, documentaries, animation series, video games, music and theaters. It also finances the technical industries associated with the production of these works (laboratories, auditoriums, studios, etc.), their projection or distribution venues (cinemas, theaters, etc.) and cultural industries at large . Originally oriented towards a French clientele, Coficiné has been expanding since 2000 to all markets in the European Union as well as in Canada and the United States. Thanks to its experience team of professionals and technicians from the financial, film and audiovisual sectors, Coficiné is the French and European leader in its industry. The institution has an annual credit production of over 900 million euros, 80% of which is used to fund works, with over 150 films and a 1000 hours of fiction and animation series per year.
